Further empowered with Ancient Egyptian Magick, it was ceremoniously blessed in the Nile river and touched to the walls of the Great Pyramid of Giza. In Ancient Egypt the Scarab was Sacred and represented creation and rebirth, connected with the rising sun and the creation of the World. They connected the term “Khepher” to their Scarab God, Khepri; which means: to develop, come into being, to occur, to exist, to change, to bring about, and to create. They placed a Scarab amulet over the heart of the deceased during the mummification ritual. This Scarab was meant to be weighed against the feather of Maat during the final judgment. Ancient Egyptians believed the purpose of life was to nourish the seeds of the divine within us all. They thought if a person is successful in this and passes the test of the weighing of the Heart, the reward is eternal life with the Gods.

This is a hand-carved Unakite gemstone; one side is the Scarab and the other features Alchemical Symbols of manifestation.
