My associates in the investigative field of Paranormal Research encounter many haunted dolls, relics and other items from their ghost hunting investigations. This bust holds the Spirit of a young girl named Elinor. She tells me she was from a large family in the Colony of Virginia. She was 11 years old when she passed away in the early 1600’s. Her passing was the result of Typhoid Fever, which she suffered with for weeks due to an incompetent doctor. By the time they knew her right diagnosis, it was too late. When she was alive, she enjoyed tending to her farm animals, climbing trees, playing jump rope, swinging and playing tag, hide-and-seek, and other outdoor games with her siblings. Her personality is very kind, loving, considerate, nurturing, playful and creative.

 Elinor demonstrates a tremendous amount of paranormal activity. Do not welcome her if this scares you. She will make her presence known in any number of ways, such as: opening and closing doors, candle flames flickering and/or going out, tapping on walls & door, hearing a girl giggling or whispering, feeling a cold touch or temperature changes in the room, objects moving, electronics acting strange, and full body ghostly apparitions. You may also see orbs, mists or twinkling lights. It has been noted several times that it appears her eyes open/close, move as well as her mouth, typically when viewed through a photo or camera recording device. Elinor’s vessel is this antique ghostly porcelain bust. It measures just under 6” tall and about 3” wide. There is a little smudging on this piece, which I have chosen not to clean. Put her in a prominent place and others will be mysterious drawn to her. There is something about her people find fascinating!
